Ramona's 8th and such...

Here are a few goodies that I either just finished or never got around to posting. The first is Ramona's 8th Evil Ex, the rest are old [ics I did in flash for fun.

Thunder Cats

Lion-O is fucked... That's all I gotta say.

Austin Community College Art Show

Here are a few quickies that I did while in school and sent off to my department's art show. I didn't really have time for much but here it is... I actually liked how some of it came out once it was finally finished.

Texas Comicon

Another commission from the Convention. This one was for Mr. Nasser Rodriguez of Comicbreak.com. This was hella fun to do as I had never drawn Kraven the Hunter before.

UP!

Sticking with the twists on Disney/Pixar movies, I drew this featuring two of my favorite movies of all time. The old man as the Emperor was a genius idea by may good friend Mike Anderson.

This will the animated color treatment for sure and probably a print and sticker run too.

Sketchin' Around

Just got back from the Texas Comicon 2010 in San Antonio, TX and I had a few sketches to upload. While I was at it I noticed a bunch of pics I hadn't posted yet so here they are.

Gettin' the bugs out.

I just added a store feature to the blog, so all you diehards can get your OZ! certified fix. Go check it out. There are still some bugs I have to work out but its well on its way.

I know, it doesn't seem fair that I should post something without any art in it, so here you go.

Mr. Freeze

Just something of a warm up before I began focusing on pages...

In lou of colors to come...

With a story on its way that I have to color myself, I figured I would practice on something that wasn't mine. The pencils for this gorgeous piece are by Jim Taylor. The inks are by Jeff Austin. You can check out the originals here(Mr. Taylor is quite the illustrator).

I loved the classic feel and felt compelled to practice on his work. I think it turned out well so now my confidence is ready for the comic I am working on.

Zombie Marines... Brains and Brawn and Brains... Brains... Brains...

Just practicing with a ton of layers in order to get the effects I want in Flash. I will probably be adding more but right now I've hit wall. Enjoy!
